His songs pay homage to greats like Hank Williams, Bo Diddley, Dick Dale, and Jimmy Reed without sounding nostalgic or imitative. Tony Buck and Cadillac Angels have released over 18 albums, toured over 38 states and 7 countries. The band was awarded "Best Roots Demo" at South by Southwest in Austin Texas and have shared the stage with Los Lobos, Jerry Lee lewis, Carl Perkins, Etta James, Dick Dale, The Blasters, The Surfaris, Paul Johnson, Dwight Yokum, Dave Alvin and Link Wray to name just a few.
